Standard Profil became part of one of the most prestigious events of industry. Standard Profil joined the International Rubber Conference Organisation (IRC) RubberCon in Edinburgh, which is supported by The Institute of Materials, Minerals & MİNİNG (IOM3). The SP team attended the event and our presentations received great interest from attendees. SP R&D Materials Expert Yusuf Güner presented the joint research with Birla Carbon “Developing EPDM Based Compound by Using Sustainable Carbonaceous Material”. In addition, SP Materials Specialist Eylül Ezgi Günindi, hosted a poster session on “Effects of reground EPDM compound usage in thermoplastic vulcanized material used in automotive sealing systems” which includes an applicative & experimental research with supplier RAVAGO, where SP is developing a TPE grade including micronized EPDM scrap. Rubber Process Improvement Team Leader Erdem Aydın and SP Group R&D Specialist Cansu Uşak also took part in the event.
